In the month of February from 21-23 2023, Saveer participated in an “INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON INNOVATION TO TRANSFORMS DRYLANDS” organized byICRISAT (International Crops Research Institute for Semi-Arid Tropics) at its Headquarters in Hyderabad, India .The main Patrons including Jacqueline Hughes Director General, ICRISAT & conference chairperson Arvind Kumar Deputy Director General – Research ICRISAT the conference will bring together global experts from research, academia, industry, MSMEs, food processing start-ups, policy makers and NGOs to coalesce new and innovative approaches and scientific Innovations to capitalise on opportunities while addressing the challenges inherent in the drylands. The main theme of this conference is Dryland production system, seed system, regenerative/natural farming system, Managing Dryland Soil Health and Water Resources, Strengthening Nutri – Sensitive Food Systems for the Drylands, Improving Productivity, Climate Resilience and Nutrition in Drylands – Technologies and Approaches, Inclusive Demand Driven Value Chains for the Drylands, Integrating Gender Youth and Social Inclusion in Dryland Agri-Food Systems.
Exhibiting many prominent dignitaries of industry, Saveer promoted speed breeding facility, Hitech Greenhouses, Phytotron & Phenomics facilities to share knowledge, experience & expertise in establishing customized turnkey infrastructure solutions by sharing the in-house R&D results. By using this advanced speed breeding facility, one can reduce the crop generation time by half and can increase generation time per year depending upon the crop type. Saveer had established similar facilities with many reputed organisations in India and working with many clients to develop solutions for various set of crops.
