On 10 February 2023, Saveer established Solar Greenhouse Hydroponics Setup at Dehradun, Uttarakhand was inaugurated in the auspicious presence of Honourable Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Shri. Pushkar Singh Dhami ji along with Shri Ganesh Joshi ji, Minister of Soldier Welfare, Agriculture and Rural Development, Government of Uttarakhand; Shri Sehdev Singh Pundhir, member of the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly and Dr. Praveen Arora, Advisor & Chairperson of water management programme, Department of Science & Technology, Government of India, Shri Shailesh Bagauli, IAS Officer & Secretary to Chief Minister along with Professor (Dr.) Durgesh Pant, Director General & Dr. Ashutosh Mishra, Senior Scientific Officer at Uttarakhand State Council for Science And Technology, Dehradun.
The 71kw solar power plant is spread in 6,000 sq. ft. area, consisting of 36 panels under which, nearly three feet above soil, 6,000 vegetable pots are placed for cultivation of exotic veggies like lettuce, capsicum, spinach and cherry tomatoes. The dual productivity & effective utilization of space has astonished scientists and experts from different parts of the country and the facility also inspired farmers and entrepreneurs who participated in the event at Uttarakhand State Council for Science and Technology (UCOST) in Dehradun.
